This session was part of India 2047: Building a Climate-Resilient Future, organized by the Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute and the Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability at Harvard University. https://salatainstitute.harvard.edu/hcaw_key_themes/health/ The Climate Science and Agriculture session was focused on exploring how climate change is reshaping India’s monsoon patterns and amplifying the frequency and severity of heat waves, with profound consequences for agriculture, water resources, and human health.  During the session,  Dr Rupa Kumar Kolli contributed to insights into India's changing climate and monsoon patterns and the need for region- and sector-specific climate information for developing effective adaptation strategies. His reflections emphasized the importance of well-informed community-based resilience and the integration of tailored climate data products for future planning, facilitated by multidisciplinary collaborative platforms including heat-health forums at different levels.  https://salatainstitute.harvard.edu/hcaw_key_themes/heat/
