Piloting of IEC poster on Heat adaptation in Bhubaneswar The Bhubaneswar team has piloted the IEC poster on heat adaptation among the project’s target groups through a series of Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). These sessions aimed to gather feedback on the posters’ content, visuals, and overall messaging to ensure they are clear, relevant, and effective for the community. So far, FGDs have been conducted in three Low-Income Settlements (LISs) and in one school. Participants included ASHAs, Anganwadi Workers (AWWs), school teachers, community leaders, representatives of the Ward Corporator, and members of vulnerable groups associated with the project. The discussions generated encouraging and constructive feedback, which will help refine the communication materials before wider dissemination. The feedback collected during these pilot sessions has been compiled and reviewed by the project team, and the IEC poster has been revised based on these insights. Piloting and field tensing of IEC Poster on Heat Adaptation in Jaipur The Jaipur team conducted field testing of the IEC poster on Heat Adaptation with various groups in a low-income settlement from 29–31. The participants included 8 school teachers, 10 outdoor workers, 14 elderly community members, and 10 ASHA and Anganwadi workers. Overall, the response to the poster was very positive. Participants appreciated the content, visuals, and colour scheme, and found the poster useful and informative for community members as well as school children. Participants also shared some suggestions and feedback during the discussions. These inputs have been reviewed, and based on the feedback, the IEC poster has been revised and finalised.
